Effects of Nycticorax nycticorax on the Bamboo Forest in Huqiu

Based on the observation of the harm of Nycticorax nycticorax in the growth of the bamboo forest from April, 1990 to April, 1991, the paper shows that the harm to the bamboo forest in Huqiu, apart from mechanical damages, is the heavy coveri. g of feces on bamboo leaves and soil, which causes the inadequacy of CO2 suppiy tor bamboo leaves, the decrease in content of chlorophyll, the obstruction of water absorption and the weakening of pho-tosynthetic capacity.
