A Numerical Study of the influence of Soil Property on Planetary Boundary Layer during Evaporation Process

This paper discusses the influence of soil property on planetary boundary layer during evaporation process using one dimensional soil-atmosphere coupled model. The results show that the development of PBL can be divided into three stages during evaporation process. Soil property has influence upon this development. The influence of soil property is obvious at stages two and three. The agreement between calculated values and the observed facts shows that this model has considerable reliability.
