CHEN Jiao-hua (Chinese Department, Suzhou Railway Teacher's College, Suzhou 215009)
Xiao Hong's arising during the 1930s is a peculiar and cold beautiful phenomenon in Chinese contemporary literature history. Such feelings as memory of childhood, consciousness of homelessness and the roving affection were stored up and deposited in her subconsciousness of deep mental structure, and became an amazing aesthetic phenomenon during the process of her writing-the formation, expression and aesthetic function of a solitary sentiment. In this paper, from the aspects of memory of childhood, consciousness of homelessness and psychology of writing, I'll try to analyze the formation, the expression and the effect of a solitary sentiment on Xiao Hong's writing.
