Application of Sand-filled Membrane Bag and Double-layer Steel Sheet Pile in Large-scale Cofferdam Construction Under Marine Environment

With the rapid development of the national economy and the continuous innovation of science and technology,the proportion of tunnel construction in China's transportation network is increasing,and the safety of underwater tunnels often depends on the construction technology of the cofferdam.Combined with the Boao Tunnel engineering practice,the membrane bag and double-layer steel sheet pile construction technology was adopted for the cofferdam to effectively overcome the tidal erosion and corrosion of seawater in the marine environment.Through detailed introduction of the construction technology such as positioning,dredging,membrane bag filling,and double-layer steel plate pile construction,it was explained that this construction technology not only effectively reduced the duration of construction,saved costs,but also ensured the safety of tunnel construction,which would accumulate experiences for the design and construction under similar conditions,and provide a reference.
