Analysis on Mechanical Characteristics of Steel Pipe Pile Cofferdam for Bridge Deep Water Foundation

ANSYS Workbench modeling method was used to study the mechanical characteristics of steel pipe pile cofferdam for bridge deep water foundation.Based on the deformation and stress analysis of steel pipe pile cofferdam structure,the deformation performance and stress characteristics of cofferdam structure were summarized under the actions of hydrostatic pressure and hydrodynamic pressure,and the most unfavorable condition was obtained.Some technical guidance can be provided to constructions.Comparing the theory analysis data with field monitoring data,the results show that this method can be used to analyze the cofferdam for bridge deep water foundation. The calculation results can provide references for the cofferdam design and construction of similar bridges.
