Maintenance and Repair Technique for Damages in Shoulders and Track Bearing Slots of High Speed Railway Ballastless Track

By field survey of damages in shoulders and track bearing slots of high speed railway ballastless track,the damages are classified as three types,o verall damage in track bearing position,partial defect in shoulders and cracking in shoulders and track bearing slots.The influence factors include environmental conditions, initial defects,bump and impact etc.On the basis of analysis of different types of damages,the damage criterion and maintenance method were put forward.While the shoulder damage area is 50% or more,the damage is determined as shoulder overall failure,thus it is recommended that the shoulder should be repaired as a whole.When the shoulder damage area is 30%,timely repair is recommended. When the shoulder damage area is less than 30%,maintenance plan should be formulated and implemented at appropriate time.
