Study on Geologic Route Selection for Capacity Expansion Reconstruction Project of Weishe-Chajiang Section in Nanning-Kunming Railway

Based on the existing capacity expansion reconstruction project of Weishe-Chajiang section in Nanning-Kunming railway,4 route schemes including second line additional construction along existing lines and 3 sets of right-line bypass schemes were put forward according to complex engineering geological conditions and unfavorable geological phenomena.After detailed field investigation, it is considered that the main geological factors affecting the route selection in this section are large-scale landslides,karst underground rivers and dangerous rockfall.This paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of four alternative lines,and finally selects the scheme of rightline bypass with another Chajiang station as the recommended scheme for this section of the railway line.This paper can provide reference for geological route selection work in complex geological conditions and unfavorable geological phenomena development areas.
