Flooding Shale Controls on Compensatory Reservoir Forming:A Case from Chang4+5 Formation Flooding Shale,Suijing Area

Here we identified the flooding shale of Chang4+5 Formation in Suijing area by using lithologic and logging data,established some identifiers of the flooding shale,and illustrated the planar distribution of shales.Using logging technology,we studied three formation parameters(thickness,sand content,and total porosity) of the flooding shale from Chang4+5 Formation,assigned weights to each parameter,and comprehensive evaluated levels of block and permeate of Chang4+5 Formation flooding shale,which was divided into eleven weights and four cap-rock levels.Meanwhile we evaluated cap-rock levels of six Chang4+5 flooding shale zones in Suijing area.At last,we analyzed the compensatory reservoir forming controls of Chang4+5 flooding shale to Chang6 and Chang2 reservoirs: ① when the block and permeate weight of Chang4+5 Formation flooding shale was 10 to 5,the cap-rocks was excellent-good to Chang6 Formation,and formed Chang6 lithologic reservoir;②when the block and permeate weight of Chang4+5 Formation flooding shale was 4 to -1,the cap-rocks was bad to non cap-rocks.Oil and gas penetrated the Chang4+5 Formation flooding shale under a great propel pressure,migrated to Chang2 traps and formed structural lithologic reservoir.
