The Effect of Beta-cypermethrin on the Esterase Activity in Blattella Germanica

To explore the biochemical marker of pyrethroid insecticide resistance,Blattella germanica were exposed to beta-cypermethrin in the sub lethal dose. The results showed that the activity of acetylcholine esterase and carboxyl esterase were significant inhibited in the early stage after the exposure,and both returned to the control levers in the 3~(rd)day. At the 18 ~(th)day after the exposure,the activity of acetylcholine esterase,carboxyl esterase and phosphoesterase were greater than controls significantly. Thus,these esterase mentioned above could be used as the biochemical markers of pyrethroid insecticide resistance.
