Xie Peiyi; Chen Lihai; Yang Dapei et al(Department of Industrial Hygiene & Occupational Disease Guangxi Medical University,Nanning 530021)
The chest radiograph was periodically observed in 1688 manganese miners exposed to dust. The result showed that the prevalence rate of pneumoconiosis was 1.78% (30 cases)in which 28 cases were graoded I and 2 cases were graded 11.27 out of 30 cases were shaft excavators. The abnormal rate of chest radiograph was 45.08%,which the highest was in shaft work ers.The abnormal rate of radiograph and the incidence rate of pneumoconiosis graded O ̄+ in all kinds of work were positively correlated to the dust concentration (the correlation coefficient was respectively 0.91 and 0.978)
