THE STUDY ON KINETIC BEHAVIOUR OF POLYMERIZATION OF AM AQUEOUS SOLUTION ON INITIAL STAGE FOR K_2S_2O_8-R_2

This paper studied kinetic behaviour of AM aqueous solution poly- merization on initial stage for K_2S_2O_8—R_2 redox initation system.The kinetic equation was given.And the apparent activation energy was calculated by the Arrhenius equation. The kinetic equation is R_p=k[ox]~(0.9)[red]~(0.6)[AM]~(2.1) where R_p——reaction rate of polymerization on initial stage(mol/1·min) [ox]——concentration of oxidant(mol/l) [red]——concentration of reductant(tool/l) [AM]——concentration of AM(tool/l) k——rate constant The activaton energy is E=17.4(kcal/mol)
