Regression Curve and Testing of D2 type High-Carbon-and-High-Chromium Steel Carbides' Homogeneity

D2 type high-C and high-Cr steel's cast structure contains 14~ 16%lede burite. Whether such kind of structure can be fully broken to pieces so as to make them to distribute as finely and homogeneously as possible, is crucial to judge whether the structure of a material will be qualified or not, and whether its service life is fully long or not. The experiments and practices have demonstrated that de formation ratio plays a decisive role in breaking carbides to make them to distribute as finely and hotnogeneously. The paper author has measured the eutectic carbide homogeneity standard errors of D2 type steel with different deformation ratios by MAAS image analyser and special softwares, made a scatterance pattern and drawn its regression curve on the right-angle plane axis, and got the following exponential curve's regression equation by deciding the equation's regression coefficients a and b with the minimum binary multiplication.When changing the regression equation into straight line equation. and testing it by probability statistics, we have found that the equation has goodness of fit, and the altitude of correlationship is significant. "Predicting" the carbide homogeneity and "controlling" the technological processes has got a very good results.
