Determination of Aluminum, Titanium in Alloy Steel by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry

A method for determination of aluminum, titanium in alloy steel by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry was presented. By ameliorating various aspects such as analysis spectral line, matrix effect, acidity and the measure conditions of instruments, the optimal conditions of determining aluminum, titanium with ICP-OES have been obtained in alloy steel: power of 1250W, nebulizer flow at 0.70L/min, auxiliary flow at 0.2 L/min, sample flow rate at 1.7mL/min. Under the best determination condition, the precision and accuracy and comparable tests for the samples were carried out. The proposed method has been used for conventional analysis with satisfactory results.
