Apoplexy, also named wind - stroke syndrome, which is a condition marked by consciousness disappearance, hemiplegia, fainting, distortion of the face. Complaince always occur, such as hemiplegia and so on. Treatment and care are classified into two stages - acute and convalescence stage. Acupuncture and intravenous therapy are main methods at the acut stage. Treatment and care at the convalescence stage mainly included acupuncture, cupping, fumigating or washing by Chinese herb and functional training. "Acu - Lotion 1"is a kind of concentrated pharmaceutic made by our hospital, for external use only. It can expell wind and cold. It can promote blood circulation to contral pain. It has good therapeutic effect to reliving numbness, weakness, pain on the legs and lower back. It can treat rheumatoid arthritis and complaince of apoplexy. According to experience of nursing on 100 convalescent after stroke, fomigating and washing by "Acu- Lotion 1" and functional training are key points during nursing the stroke patients of the convalescence stage.
