Improvement of Manufacturing Process of Doped Fiber Preform

In recent years,the output power of fiber laser keeps growing,which raises higher demand for doped fibers.Current production technique of doped fiber combines the MCVD and solution doping and has the disadvantages of long production cycle and high cost. The process is modified based on solution doping and the new improved process is compatible with traditional chemical vapor deposition(MDVD)phase of the system. Compared with the traditional solution doping process,the new technology can significantly increase the concentration of ions in the fiber,which can be used directly to produce high-power large core diameter doped fiber.
