On Mesoscopic Circuits with Charge Discreteness

WANG Li-li,L Yue-kai(College of Physics and Electrinic Information,Tianjin Normal University,China)  
A mesoscopic transmission line composed with periodic series of LC circuits is studied in this paper.Based on the charge quantum,the Hamiltonian and electric current of the system are obtained.By using a nonlinear equation satisfied the charge operator,the spectrum is calculated exactly in energy basis for each cell.Also a dissipation system including electrical resistance is considered in this paper.The results indicate that,under the condition of charge discreteness,the equation for mesoscopic circuit is evident different with that of classical one,and the energy spectrum of the circuit are not only related with the circuit parameters,but also depended the quantization character of the charge.
