Lower bound of number of limit cycles for a class of piecewise linear Hamiltonian systems under polynomial perturbation

The number of limit cycles for a class of piecewise linear smooth Hamiltonian systems under the polynomial perturbation is studied. By the computation of the first order Melnikov function,it is proved that the lower bound of number of limit cycles for the planar piecewise smooth linear Hamiltonian systems is n + 1 + 2[(n + 1)/2] under the polynomial perturbation of degree n.
