Analysis of ecological suitability of the space under urban overpass in Tianjin based on ecological networks

In order to explore the role of space under the overpass in the urban ecological network,26 overpasses in Tianjin city were chosen as the research area,the ecological status of the space under the overpass which was investigated.The potential ecological network was constructed using the function of spacial analysis of GIS,and the function of the space under the overpass was analyzed using landscape pattern indices and structure indices. Finally,the optimization of countermeasures of the space under the overpass in Tianjin city was raised. The results showed that the ecological suitability of the space under overpass in Tianjin city was at the middle level,in which three overpasses were at first class level,four overpasses were at second class level,seven were at third class level,nine were at forth class level and three were at fifth class level. The excellent ecological environment of the space urban overpass space had a profound effect on the in-tegrity of landscape and landscape pattern diversities of Tianjin. The under urban overpass can improve the connectivity and sealing degree of ecological networks. In addition,it played an important role in reducing energy and nutrient loss of ecosystems.
