Calculation of Phase Equilibrium of Hydrocarbon-Water System and Solubility Amount of Water in Light Hydrocarbons

This paper expounds the characteristics of phase equilibrium of hydrocarbon-water system. According to the informations concerned and experimental revilt, it is recommended to use the equation 1 to calculate the solube amount of water in light hydrocarbons, while at the conditions concerned the data of solubility of water in pure hydrocarbon or hydrocarbon mixture can not be obtained. Through the comparison of seven group calculations with the data measured on the light hydrocarbon recovery equipment in Daqing. It is verified that the calculated results of equation 1 are reliable and their errors are generally less than 30%, satisfying the requirements of production and design.
