PREDICATION OF THE TRIASSIC CONDENSATE GAS RESERVOIR IN LONG NO.2 STRUCTURE IN YINGJISU DEPRESSION OF EASTERN TALIMU BASIN

Liang Shengzheng,Liu Xiao,Gao Weizhong,Shi Jianmin and Li Weihua (Huabei Oil Field Branch of PCL).
A little oil and gas were found in Triassic in the stratigraphic well Huaying 1 on Long No.2 structure in Yingjisu Mesozoic Depression of Eastern Talimu Basin. The subsurface phase behavior of crude oil, reservoir formation conditions and the scale of the oil gas reservoir have been followed with great interest. In the paper, the subsurface phase behavior of the oil and gas found in Triassic in the stratigraphinc well Huaying 1 is comprehensively studied by use of six kinds of data as geological logging, head space gas chromatography, gas component statistics, judgement on the subsurface phase behavior of light crude oil, hydrocarbon geochemical characteristics and well completing test, etc.;through synthetically analyzing various petroleum geological conditions, the reservoir formation condition of Long No.2 structure is expounded and the hydrocarbon resource extent in the structure is predicted;and the geological phenomenon of why the Triassic gas reservoir was found in Long No.2 structure with a relatively bad caprock is explained by use of the dynamic balance theory about natural gas migration and accumulation. It is shown by various data that the top of the lower reservoir interval of Triassic in the stratigraphic well Huaying 1 is a condensate gas reservoir and the Long No.2 structure may be a condensate gas bearing structure with a sufficient gas source,a large trap and a high gas fill factor, being of a good exploration potential.
