FUZZY MATHEMATICS-BASED ASSESSMENT OF RECOVERABILITY OF COALBED METHANE IN THE FUXIN BASIN

Assessment of recoverability of coalbed methane resources is the prerequisite and basis of exploration and production.In view of the status of exploration and production of coalbed methane and the current technical level of coalbed methane recovery,fuzzy mathematics theory is used to systematically analyze those parameters including the geologic features,reservoirs and physical property,an index system for assessment of recoverability of coalbed methane resources are established,methods for determining correction coefficient of membership function matrix of the assessment parameters are proposed,and a comprehensive assessment program of coalbed methane recoverability is presented.A case study of the Fuxin coal field shows that the results of comprehensive evaluation of coalbed methane recoverability basically accord with the reality.
