OPTIMIZING THE MONEY MANAGEMENT IN AN ENTERPRISE TO IMPROVE THE EFFECIENCY OF WORKING CAPITAL

Before the reform,China National Petroleum Corporation(CNPC)adopted the proliferation of funds in money management,in the way that subsidiaries could work and make their decision in fast and flexible way.However,along with the development of the company,due to huge amounts the working capital of CNPC can not be well supervised and controlled like before so that the efficiency of working capital has been decreased to some degree.After the reform,PetroChina has adopted the concentration of funds based on two sides of income and expenditure in money management,in this way the efficiency of working capital has been improved to a large extent and the working capital can be managed,distributed and operated under the same policy by such measures as debt focus,account collect,overdraft control,connected transaction and closed settlement,etc.Through deep analysis on those measures mentioned above to optimize the money management in an enterprise,this paper points out how different ways in money management will have impact on the efficiency of working capital,and under different market circumstance an enterprise can choose a proper way in its money management to improve the efficiency of working capital and meet the requirement for normal operation works and strategy development for the enterprise.
