A discussion on how to assess the safety supervisors working at petroleum drilling sites

In order to improve the professional competence of safety supervisors,to promote drilling safety supervision,and to further improve the evaluation system for safety supervisors,a discussion is made here to probe into the problem of how to assess or evaluate the safety supervisors at the drilling sites.In view of the status quo of drilling safety supervision work at the CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company,we adopted the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and combined the traditional qualitative evaluation with the quantitative evaluation to build up a new index evaluation system which has been proved effective by actual application.This system is suitable to be programmed and be constructed into a network and this will be helpful for the informatization of drilling safety supervisor management.
