The MFHW(multi-fractured horizontal well) technology is a feasible and cost-effective choice for developing shale gas reservoirs with low permeability. This MFHW method is different from other conventional analytic methods applied for shale gas reservoirs to make the calculation of the Vp of SRV and OGIP possible even when the reservoir parameters of porosity(φ),permeability(K),reservoir thickness(h) and discharge area(A) are not determined. This method adopts the production data([m(pi)-m(pwf)]/qg) and the double logarithmic curve of t to analyze the Vp and OGIP of multi-fractured shale gas wells. The study indicates that this method is applicable only for single-phase gas flow, and should be further modified for the two-or multi-phase flow.
