Optimization of Coalbed Methane (CBM) Surface Gathering and Transportation Pipeline Network

Coalbed methane development has such characteristics as low output,pressure and permeability and its surface gathering and transportation pipeline network is very complex.In domestic coalbed methane development,referred mainlyis the mature experience in lowpressure gas field surface gathering and transportation engineering design of Sulige Gas Field and such issues exist as unreasonable pipeline network layout and process parameters,high project investment and high energy consumption.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize pipeline network layout and process parameters.Analyzed are characteristics of surface gathering and transportation process and adaptability of different networks,applied is the hierarchical optimization method to solve the optimization problem,proposed is an optimization method of pipeline diameter of the network according to network equivalent hydraulic simulation diagram and the method has been applied in coalbed methane(CBM)surface gathering and transportation engineering design.
