Research Progress in Natural Gas Hydrate Vapor-Hydrate Equilibrium

The presence of water has a negative impact on natural gas transportation and treatment. It is particularly important to predict the maximum allowable water content in natural gas accurately,that is,the water content in gas phase that is equilibriumwith natural gas hydrate in order toensure normal gas transportation and treatment. Summarized is the research progress in experimental determination and theoretical calculation of the gas phase water content which is equilibrium with the gas hydrate in last 35 years and comparative analysis is conducted on prediction technique for the maximumallowable water content in natural gas.
