Cognition and Cultivation of Geography Practice Ability Based on the New Curriculum Standards

The revised edition of the high school curriculum standards has been promulgated and implemented, and the cultivation of core literacy is the goal of education and teaching.The geographical practice is one of thefour core qualities of geography.With the development of geography science, the great changes such as the conceptof education and teaching the study and life of senior high school students, the geography practice activities andthe geography practice ability in the background of the times have new requirements, which need teachers to havea new cognition to the geography practice ability.In teaching practice, teachers should constantly explore strategiesfor cultivating geographical practice power based on the resources, bases, platforms, technologies and designs ofgeography teaching, actively using"reconstructing teaching space, introducing resources outside school, enrichingoutdoor resources and perfecting practice base". With the help of network platform, five strategies are put forward,such as strengthening communication and interaction, introducing professional equipment to highlight virtuallearning, promoting activity consciousness and carrying out comprehensive practice, which are of great value for the cultivation of students' geographical practice ability.
