High-Resolution H_α Line Profiles for Six Chromospherically Active Binaries

We have obtained high-resolution spectra in Ha line region for six chromospherically active binaries with unknown Ha behaviour in "A Catalog of Chromospherically Active Binary Stars":η And,3 Cam,4 UMi,v2 Sgr,Sgr and HR 7333.The spectral observations of these six binaries were made with the Coude spectrograph and thick CCD system of lm telescope in Yunnan Observatory during August in 1990 and 1991.The Ha emission and absorption equivalent widths, and the half widths and the radial velocities of these systems were determined.In order to compare with the photospherical metal lines we determined the radial velocities of three FeI lines(λ:6569.224A,6574.254,6575.037A) for each system.Ha profiles of these six systems are all absorption lines,but HR7333 shows strong emission and 4 UMi shows weak emission which fill in Ha lines.3 Cam has strong chromospheric activity in the phase of 0.154 and in that phase its equivalent width decreased largely.Ha profiles of η And, Sgr,v2 Sgr systems show absorption,however,the chromospheric activities of these binaries are very weak or did not exist during the observing period.
