YIN Yong-pei;JIANG Chuan-yin;Police Physical Training Department, Zhejiang Police Vocational Academy;School of Wushu, Shanghai University of Sport;
This study analyzes the essence and connotation of Taijiquan methods and principle from the perspective of ontology and explores the inherent logical relationship deeply. Conclusion: principle is the objective existence which is the access to Tao that can be perceived and experienced through physical and mental introspection and consciousness; method is the way to the truth and it is not fixed; principle exists because of method and is the soul of method; method acts with principle and is the representation of principle. Principle allows millions of methods, millions of methods run into oneness, and oneness leads to nothingness; only by complying with principle and method, can Taijiquan be integrated with Tao.
