Cross-Border Insolvency Cooperation and China's Response in the Context of“The Belt and Road”Initiative

As "The Belt and Road" Initiative has entered into the practical phase, how to respect national differences in legislation and legal practice from the aspect of the bankruptcy law has become particularly important. As the initiator, China should be more active participating and promoting cross-border insolvency cooperation with surrounding countries by expanding the judicial cooperation network, interpreting Article 5 of Chinese Bankruptcy Law in good faith and promoting the construction of "Wisdom Court" based on the existing legal framework.
