Research and Implementation of IPv6-based PIM-SM protocol

With the rapid development of the network technology,wider bandwidth is required.Multicast transmission offers efficient network resource consumption.This paper discusses the principles of multicast protocol PIM-SM(Protocol Independence Multicast-Sparse Mode)in detail and presents the implementation project of IPv6 multicast technology using PIM-SM and MLD.This solution is verified in experiments to be feasible and effective.
