Relationship between Pre-Crystallization and Ionic Conductivity for Amorphous Ionic Conductor Ag_5I_2PO_4

The ionic conductivity of amorphous fast ionic material Ag_5I_2PO_4 was studiedby means of DSC and electrical measurement technique,and the crystallization pro-cess of the material was also studied.The results obtained show that at room tem-perature its conductivity is 5×10~(-3)(Ω.cm)~(-1),and with increase in temperature(upto 70℃)lg σ linearly changes with 1/T.Its conduction activation energy is 0.22eV from room temperature to 70℃.At 100℃ its conductivity reaches a peak value3.0×10~(-2)(Ω.cm)~(-1),which corresponds to an obvious exothermal peak on its DTAcurve.The conductivity of such material stabilized by quenching from 100℃ toroom temperature is higher than that of its original amorphous state.
