On the Critique and Reconstruction of Teachers'Professionalization from Feminist Perspective

In recent years,feminists in western countries have studied the connotation related to gender in the widely-accepted concept " professionalization of teaching ". They have analysed its philosophical hypothsis and have revealed a gender-power relationship hidden behinde the official discourse,also the professional identity crisis of women teachers caused by the contradiction between the theory and their practice has been brought to light. They have offered recommendations for teacher education that will integrate feminism pedagogy into the mainstream of programs for prospective teachers.
