Professional Experience Orientation:Analysis on Teaching Practice Model of the University of Sydney in Australia

Since the 1980 s,Australian teacher education institutions have attachedgreat importance to the development of pre-service teacher education practice curriculum,and through strengthening the teaching practice to promote the pre-service teacher to getteaching skills. The University of Sydney is leader in Australian teacher education institu-tions,and it has been attaching the important role of education practice in Teacher Educa-tion. The teaching practice model of University of Sydney is rigorous,open,flexible,and itnot only emphasizes on developing teaching skills,but also pays attention to cultivatingquality through Professional Experience. So it establishes a quality assurance mechanism ofinstitutionalization and professionalization for improving the effectiveness of teaching prac-tice. To Analyze the contents,methods and practice characteristics of teaching practicemodel of the University of Sydney in Australia will give us some inspirations and referencesfor promoting the reform of teaching practice and improving the quality of teacher education.
