A Study on the Supporting Bodies and Functions of K-12 Online Learning in Florida,USA

Florida is the nationwide and global leader in the K-12 online learning industry,its rapid development of K-12 online learning benefited from the collaboration and participation of the various support subjects,include the resource developer such as providers of online courses and tools,the learning organizer such as state virtual school and regional educational organizations,the learning participants such as schools and teachers professional development bodies,and government which regulates the online learning. The cooperation between the supporting bodies ensures the effective operation of online learning,shows the following characteristics:grants legitimacy of the subjects identity by law,en-sures the openness of the subjects bymarket-oriented operation,guarantees the validity ofthe teaching process by innovative teaching mode and tools,ensures the co-operation of themain bodies by the inter-subject coordination mechanism,the mandatory function of themain functions by the effective performance evaluation and accountability system. Such ex-periences are of valuable reference.
