CBED DETERMINATION OF ROCKING CURVES WITH LARGE ANGULAR RANGE FROM MICROAREAS

By means of appropriate combination of several conventional convergent beam electron diffraction(CBED) patterns, of which the directions of the central incident beams are a little different but have a definit relation, experimental rocking curve with large angular range may be obtained from a very small specimen region. In this paper the principle of the method is discussed. Experimental rocking curves with large angular range in the case of (111) systematic reflections for an austenitic stainless steel are given and compared with theoretically calculated ones.
