Nonlinear Optical Second Harmonic Imaging in Highly Scattering Media

Nonlinear optical second harmonic (SH )imaging through a highly scattering medium hasatt racted considerableattentionbecauseofitshighresolution ,nobleachingandpotentialapplications .Inrecentyears,thereis alotofreportsinthisresearchfieldandinmostofwhichtheplanarwaveapproximationhasbeenusedineithertheo reticalderivationorexperimentalmeasurements. Inthispaper,theinteractionbetweenlaserandbio tissue (ahighlyscatteringmedium)hasbeenstudied ,the behaviorofthesecondharmonicimagingatdifferentdepthhasbeendescribed ,thecharacteristicsofSHimaging throughahighscatteringmediumisanalyzedbyuseoftheMonteCarlotechnique ,andtheexperimentalSHimaginghasbeenshown .
