Fluidity of precipitated barium sulfate powder and its effecting factor

Taking precipitated barium sulfate produced by mirabilite-barium sulfide method as subject of study,on the basis of determination of fluidity of common,fine and ultrafine barium sulfate powder,the main factors of effecting on the fluidity of the product are analyzed.The influence of fluidity of the product with the change of Vander Woals force between the particle has been emphatically analyzed as the precipitated BaSO_4 powder being compressed.It is concluded that the increase of the cohesive force of the particle has a square relationship to the compressing rate of the particle.
