Liquid absorption and comprehensive utilization of NO in flue gas

Two-step method was employed to removal the NO in flue gas.Firstly,NO was fixed by complex absorpion with the solution of FeⅡEDTA,and then NO can be oxidized to NO3-by H2O2.In order to regenerate the absorption liquid,the p H of the solution was adjusted to 4.0,and then add Fe powder to deoxygenate FeⅢto FeⅡ,so that it can keep on absorbing NO.In the experiments,some factors,such as the p H of the FeⅡEDTA solution,concentration,temperature,and the amount of H2O2,which may affect FeⅡEDTA absorbing NO and further oxidating NO to NO3-were studied.Results showed that the oxidation efficiency of NO can reach 83.8%,when FeⅡEDTA(0.13 mol/L) was used to absorb NO and add H2O2 as the oxidizer later,the concentration of NO3-was 0.109 mol/L finally.After five recyclings of the absorption liquid,EDTA,molysite,and nitrate etc.,can be recovered by adjusting the p H to achieve comprehensive utilization,and the recovery rate of EDTA was 93.1%.
