Progress in degradation of gas-phase benzene series by nano-TiO_2 photocatalyst

As a promising technology for removing pollutants,TiO_2 has received significant attentions in recent years.Based on the systematical analysis of research progress in photocatalytic degradation of benzene series with titanium dioxide(TiO_2) in the world,catalysis mechanism and modified methods were briefly illustrated.The influences of relative humidity,gas initial concentration,flow rate,and oxygen content,on photocatalytic reaction rate were discussed.The intermediate products of benzene degradation were also introduced.Some suggestions for the present problems of TiO_2 and a perspective on the development trend were put forward.
