Influence of chloride on the Pt-Sn-K/γ-Al_2O_3 catalyst properties

Pt-Sn-K/γ-Al_2O_3 catalysts with different Cl contents were prepared.The influences of Cl contents on the properties,surface acidity and Pt dispersion etc.of Pt-Sn-K/γ-Al_2O_3 catalyst were investigated by XRF,low temperature N_2 adsorptionstripping,NH_3-TPD,H_2-TPR and thermogravimetry(TG) etc..By researching isobutane dehydrogenation reaction,the influence of Cl contents on the dehydrogenation performance and the carbon deposition of the catalyst were also studied.The results showed that the suitable surface acidity of catalysts could improve the performance of the catalyst,when mass fraction of Cl was 0.9%,the catalyst showed higher activity and selectivity.
