Technology of velocity-map imaging and its data analysis

The technology of velocity-map imaging is introduced into the physics experiment teaching,the basic principle of velocity-map imaging technology is expounded using energy conversation law.The technology of velocity-map imaging is presented from three aspects: the principle of ion lens,the technology of two-dimensional detection,and the method of data analysis.The whole presentation is combined with the completely non-elastic collision and experiment of Frank-Hertz,etc.,which is more intuitive for students to study and master collision phenomenon and energy conservation.
