Experimental study on calibration of Fourier transform profilometry

Based on Fourier transform profilometry(FTP),a method of calibrating the object's 3D phase map is proposed.Firstly,the phase-height conversion formula for calibration is derived.Then,a three pixel-period grating pattern is applied,several height increments,namely,50 μm,1 mm,2 mm and 5 mm are used in the experiment,respectively,and the wrapped phases in the height direction are effectively unwrapped using the formula.
