Visualizing the refractive index gradient in air

Based on the schlieren method,the hologram containing the variation of light wave intensity and phase caused by the refractive index gradient in air was recorded by the holographic interferometry technique.And the visualization of the refractive index gradient in air could be achieved through the holographic reconstruction after photographic developing,fixing and bleaching.
