Theoretical and experimental study on laser traction of pyrolytic graphite in magnetic field

A suspension platform was constructed using NdFeB permanent magnet,and the diamagnetic substance pyrolytic graphite(PG)was suspended.The motion mechanism of laser-driven maglev suspended pyrolytic graphite was studied under the photothermal effect.The force on the suspended substance stemmed from two sources:the magnetic field and the thermal field.The theoretical formula and experimental scheme were given by Matlab.By using COMSOL,the stress,magnetic field distribution and thermal field distribution were given.In addition,COMSOL was used to establish an APP to obtain the magnetic field and potential field distribution of the magnet sequence,thermal field distribution of the PG sheet and the force at any position in the magnetic field to realize more accurate and efficient traction.
