Experimental investigation of the prominent structure of ferromagnetic fluid in axial magnetic field

The structure of a three-dimensional peak of a small amount of ferromagnetic fluids in an axisymmetric magnetic field had been systematically investigated.The effects of external magnetic field strength,fluid volume and fluid viscosity on the peak structure were investigated by experimentally.The mechanism of the three-dimensional peak structure on the surface of fluid was analyzed theoretically in view of the coupling between the potential field and the fluid surface.
