Data processing in the experiment of the mechanical equivalent of heat by electrothermal method

Two data processing methods were proposed to revise heat radiation effect in the experiment of measuring the mechanical equivalent of heat by electrothermal method,which were temperature compensation method and linear regression method.When using schematic approach,the temperature compensation method was simple,while twice linear regression method was more complicated.What's more,the assumption of a constant heat radiation coefficient could also result in deviations in twice linear regression method,but a quantitative estimation of the uncertainty could be given.On the basis of these methods,different data volume and sampling interval were compared and the best scheme was proposed.
