Planning for the Comprehensive Treatment of Leather-Industrial Pollution

A planning for pollution prevention of leather industry was attemorably suggested, and a scheme including processing control, management control and local regulation was worked out using the comprehensive treatment methodology. In practice, processing control is of benefit to a change from traditional techniques to clean technology involving in hide chilling, enzymeassisted unhairing, N -free delim-ing, chrome recovery/recycling, solvent -free top coats and waste utilization
