Optimal Daily Operation of Hydropower Cascade

A method of calculation for optimizing the daily operation of hydropower cascade is suggested. The method is separated into two parts: the hydraulic calculation and the optimal allocation of load among the powerstationsin a cascade. The combination of these two parts just forms the method for determing the optimal operation of the cascade. It makes both the determination of optimal allocation of load among powerstations and the optimal operation of each individual powerstation a united calculating process, so that all required results of calculation are to be obtained simultaneously.
