Model experimental study on pressure distribution on draft tube inlet section

Taking Shuibuya Hydropower Station for example,several model experiments on the pressure distribution on the draft tube inlet section have been carried out.These experiments are of normal simulations and under 100% discharge,partial discharge at different water levels.It is shown that the pressure on the draft tube inlet section are uneven distributed during stable flow and transient flow process.The reasons are analyzed so as to offer suggestions for future design of hydropower stations.
